Have a look at the Speed Passion v2.0 LPF. there around £110 brand new and plenty of power for a 8.5

They are not as punchy as the pro version but in my opinion off rd dosnt need all that especially 2wd. LPF will do up to 5.5t max but thats plenty!

Bargain price aswell as looking really good!

Any leading brand esc for sensored motor should do.

If your looking to stay on a budget then look at exceed, robitronic, losi or speedpassion.

All will have not troubles at all with an 8.5 in a 2wd.
