Just thought I would relay some info for those who have not raced before and are thinking of buying a model.  if you are looking rtr, There are now buggies on sale ready to run that come with a brushless set up and 2.4gh radio gear. 2.4gh radio and brushless motors are most of use now.  Try team associated web site for more info.  hope this was of some use to someone.
